  • Last February, Gunnar Greuel was being celebrated on the basketball court for making
    his 500th rebound. On Thursday afternoon, we again celebrated with Gunnar for
    making his 1000th rebound in a home game against the Butternut Midgets. In less
    than a year's time, he was able to double his rebound stat. Gunnar was the 2022-
    2023 state rebound champion last year, and he is continuing his rebounding success
    as he currently leads the state in rebounds again this year. Now he has set his
    sights on the most rebounds ever in the state. The way he is going, we are certain
    that he will achieve that also. Gunnar is pictured with Coach Curtis Decora and

  • Gunnar Greuel was able to hit his own personal milestone of 500 rebounds during the game against Lake Holcombe on January 24th. The junior currently leads all players across all divisions in the state of Wisconsin in rebounds, with an astounding nightly average of 20.1 rebounds per game. -Photo by Ross Pattermann

  • It’s been a month of milestones in Winter as senior, Kate Pasanen, reached a career 1000 points against the Lake Holcombe Chieftains in front of a home crowd in Winter last Tuesday. The Lady Warriors won by a score of 87-64. Kate is pictured with her coaches, Jennie Pasanen and Mike Granica.

  • Senior, Hailey Coss, reached a career milestone of 1000 points during the game against the Clayton Bears on the road last Tuesday. The last Winter girls athlete to reach this milestone was Jasmine Goebel in 2019. Congratulations to Hailey!

  • Winter's Gunnar Greuel attempts to score inside against Birchwood's 6'7" Ethan Meyer on Tuesday, Dec. 20. Greuel finished with another double-double on Tuesday, scoring 15 points and pulling down 19 rebounds to help propel Winter to its second victory, and first in the East Lakeland.
