Winter Area Lions Club Septemberfest

   The Winter Area Lions Club Annual Septemberfest will be held at Patti’s on 70 on Saturday, September 14th from 5 p.m.  to 9 p.m. Enjoy food and drink samples from area businesses in addition to live music by the Second Time Around Band. Event takes place rain or shine.
    Tickets are $20 which enters you into a drawing for $200. Tickets are available from local Winter Area Lions Club members.
    This fundraiser in addition to the Annual Spaghetti Dinner and the Car Show assist the Winter Area Lions Club with supporting community organizations and events such as scholarships at the Winter High School, equipment for the Winter Fire Department, picnic tables at the Doc Smith Park Pavilion, treats for Halloween and Christmas parties and the Easter Egg Hunt to name a few. They also assist with food distribution for Feed My People, the Sawyer County Drug Take-Back program, yearly vision screening at the school and providing eyeglasses for those in need (through Lions International).
  The Lions motto is “WE SERVE” and new members are always welcome. If you would like to join this wonderful community organization please reach out to any Lions Club member.
