2024 July Jubilee Celebration
The Winter Wisconsin Area July Jubilee is synonymous with July 4th! It's been an event for a long, long time and we are excited to have a wonderful group of volunteers step up to continue this amazing event. This year we will be having a 2-day event, July 4th and 5th and as always this event has something for your entire family.
The day will start with the Winter Public Library's 2-mile Color Fun Run and 10K race. Your child may want to decorate their bike or wagon for the Kiddie Parade which will then be followed by the big kid 4th of July parade. Prizes will be offered for the most patriotic, most beautiful, and most humorous entries. Exciting news: ASTRONAUT JEFF WILLIAMS will be our Grand Marshal! He will also be in the park afterwards to visit. Businesses, organizations, family units, individuals are all encouraged to have a float or just parade. Have a musical family? How about sharing your talents with everyone by having a musical entry.
After the parade, the party moves to Doc Smith Park where there will be food, entertainment, and games. Music starts at 1pm with the band G-Man. Live Entertainment featuring The All-Star Wrestlers will be in Winter to celebrate the 4th. In the evening, Absolute Party DJ will be rocking us up until the fabulous display of fireworks, set to shoot off at dusk. On Friday you won't want to miss the Truck and Tractor pull with its high-powered action. There will be live music from 4-7pm on July 5th provided by the Unlucky 7s. Our craft/flea market and food vendors will be at the park both days. The kids will have inflatables to play on including the Bungee Jumper, The Eliminator, Toddler Bounce and more! We are still setting up the exact lineup for the 2-day event, so follow our website winterwi.com or our Facebook page for more exciting news.
Many of the day's events are provided by the Winter Area Chamber of Commerce at no cost. As most of you know, pricing across the board has increased significantly; this is an expensive event and we depend solely on donations, fundraiser raffles, sponsor advertising, and beverage sales from the Chamber kiosks to fund it. Please consider making a donation to keep this event going. It's very important and needed. Every donation is greatly appreciated.
The support of volunteers is also extremely important in making this event a reality. Even an hour or two of your time will help. Please contact July Jubilee Co-Chair Gayle Johnson at 715-266-5681, Kris Treland-Neumann at 715-558-2796 or the Winter Chamber office at 715-415-1966 if you can help or have any questions or suggestions relating to the event.
Thank You for Your Support and we'll see you in July!
